As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPC-A) with a Master’s in Counseling from Abilene Christian University, I provide compassionate, personalized support to individuals dealing with challenges such as depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, and life transitions. My focus is on helping clients develop effective strategies to manage stress, organize their time, and navigate significant life changes with greater ease and confidence.
I am a bilingual therapist with experience working with diverse populations, having completed internships at a women’s shelter, psychology clinic, and counseling/medical center. My approach to therapy is flexible, utilizing techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness to meet each client’s unique needs. As an LGBTQ ally, I am passionate about supporting late teens and adults, especially those navigating challenges such as bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder. I believe in meeting you where you are, guiding you toward your goals with empathy and understanding.
At the heart of my work is the belief that every individual has the capacity to thrive with the right kind of support. My aim is to foster a safe, compassionate environment where clients can openly explore their challenges and discover practical solutions that encourage growth and well-being. Additionally, being under the supervision of Penny Height, M.Ed., LPC-S, offers an extra layer of reassurance to clients. Her guidance and mentorship ensure that I provide the highest standard of care, grounded in Evidence-Based practices, and that each treatment is thoughtfully tailored to meet the unique needs of every client.
