What is it?
It is gentle movement of the body with a concentration of breath work and mental centering of your thoughts. A certified yoga instructor will lead the class for the first 25 minutes with movement that helps to reduce stress. These movements do not require any physical endurance and fits most everyone’s ability. The last 25 minutes will be led by a Licensed Professional Counselor in a group setting to process any emotions that arise while you are working through a guided meditation with the yoga instructor. The purpose of the class is to release stress and the things that hold you back from the life you want. We hold stress, trauma, and pain in our bodies. Learn how to release it from your body and mind.
What do I bring:
Wear comfortable clothes. We have yoga mats, of course, you are welcome to bring yours.
Wednesday – 5:00 p.m. -5:50p.m. and 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m.
Thursday - 6:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Friday nights are no longer available. You can request a private session with the instructor and therapist. $200.00 per hour.
$30.00 per session. We accept insurance BCBS, UHC, Aetna, Cigna or we can provide you with documentation to present to your insurance company for reimbursement.
How do I sign up?
Schedule an appointment with Jaylin Schraner, our yoga instructor, by calling or texting 817-657-1115 or emailing admin@CounselingByPenny, which date you’d like to attend. We’ll send you paperwork to complete online, you'll provide payment method, and insurance information if applicable.
You will receive an email reminder 3 days prior to the appointment and text the day before the appointment. Please give us 24 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment. Call or text 817-657-1115 to cancel your appointment.
